Deidre was born and raised on Long Island, NY and obtained her Bachelor’s of Nursing Science from University of Delaware while serving in ARMY ROTC.  Deidre was stationed at Ft Hood, TX from 1995-1999.  Deidre has worked in a number of different nursing specialties to include Labor and Delivery, Women’s Health, Neonatal health, pediatrics as well as working with Dialysis patients.  Deidre transitioned into administrative roles from 2002 until 2016, serving a number of leadership roles in Women’s health as well as public health.  In 2018, Deidre completed her MSN and became a practicing Nurse Practitioner.

Deidre has 3 children, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 1 horse.  Deidre enjoys reading, going to the movies, teaching horseback riding and a number of other hobbies.  Deidre is married to Bob Fisher for the past 27 years, a CPA who is a saint.
